The Supreme Court is set to review the Biden administration’s controversial ghost gun regulation, which seeks to impose heavy restrictions on privately made firearms that lack serial numbers.

This rule threatens to limit Americans’ access to firearms by holding untraceable guns to the same burdensome standards as commercial sales. While proponents claim the rule has reduced ghost gun prevalence in major cities, critics argue it undermines the rights of lawful gun owners.

Meanwhile, the House Oversight Committee is investigating alleged collusion between the White House and gun control advocates aiming to target firearm manufacturers. NSSF Senior VP Lawrence G. Keane condemned the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention as a “taxpayer-funded effort to do the bidding of radical, special interest groups.”

The Supreme Court’s decision, expected by June 2025, could have a profound impact on future firearms regulations, potentially reshaping Second Amendment rights in America.
